"Blind luck" no asteroids have hit a city

Asteroids have caused 26 atomic bomb-strength explosions on Earth since 2001. The B612 Foundation recently documented each multi-kiloton blast and mapped them for users to explore on their website. All of the impacts occurred in oceans or remotely populated areas, never hitting a city due to what the foundation calls "blind luck."
